That’s all, folks. We discussed a lot of things and how they work in Perl 6. I hope that this has been a good introduction to the language for you and that you will be able to use it in your new projects.
There are still many topics left. Your starting point for the new bits of information should be the language’s official web page, perl6.org. The site contains extensive documentation and many examples.
All the code examples in the book were tested in December 2016 with the Rakudo Star compiler, version 2016.11. You can download it from rakudo.org/how-to-get-rakudo. You may also check the small example files from the book in the repository at github.com/ash/perl6-at-a-glance.
Remember that Perl 6 and its compilers are still in development; that means that both the code in this book and in the documentation on the site may work incorrectly or even not compile. If you experience any problems, you are always welcome to ask for advice in the Perl 6 Community (there are a few links at perl6.org/community) or in the Perl6 group on Facebook.
